By using Break Speed Coach you agree to these terms. They're intentionally short and clear — no legal maze.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Break Speed Coach ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Break Speed Coach is a training and tracking tool that estimates pool break speed from audio recorded through your device microphone. It is designed to help players measure and improve their break over time.

Audio analysis to estimate cue-ball speed at impact.
Player profile management with persistent break history.
Session summaries, trend charts, and consistency metrics.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

Results are estimates, not guaranteed measurements.

Break Speed Coach uses audio analysis to approximate cue-ball speed. It is not a certified or calibrated measurement device. Results are intended as training feedback and relative comparisons — not as official or competition-grade measurements.

Many factors affect accuracy, including microphone placement, ambient noise, recording quality, and table conditions. Do not rely solely on this app for competitive decisions.

4. User Responsibilities

Use the app only for its intended purpose — personal pool break analysis and training.
Do not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or exploit the service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any device microphone you record with.
Record only in appropriate settings where microphone use is permitted.

5. Data Responsibility

You are responsible for managing your own profiles and data within the app. If you share a device with others, be aware that all profiles on that device may be visible. The app does not currently support password-protected profiles.

You can delete your data at any time from within the app. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected and how to remove it.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Promethean Games and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to: inaccurate speed readings, data loss, or device issues.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the app for any user who violates these terms or uses the service in a way that is harmful or abusive. You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the app shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.
